Summer concert 2024

An evening of glorious, uplifting solos, duets and rousing choruses from many much loved famous operas. The South Devon Choir is joined by some of its favourite, nationally acclaimed soloists. The evening is conducted by Simon Dunbavand with accompanist Matt Davies.

Summer Choral Workshop and Concert – June 2024

This year the RNLI celebrates its 200th year of lifesaving. Since the RNLI was formed in 1824, ordinary people have formed the crews and funded the kit and lifeboats to save lives at sea. South Devon Choir is delighted and proud to support the work of RNLI in its bicentennial year with proceeds from our choral workshop being donated to the RNLI.

For our 2024 workshop we will be rehearsing a selection of choruses from Handel’s Messiah. There will be many familiar ones along with some of the less performed choruses. The workshop will be led by Robin Stubbs, supported by Simon Dunbavand on the organ.
