South Devon Choir runs a summer choral workshop which is open to everyone, not just South Devon Choir members. During our 150th Anniversary Season we ran three workshops and had lots of fun doing them.

Choral Workshop 2022

In the summer of 2022 we decided to undertake a charity workshop and raised £1,000 for our local NHS Charity.

Choral Workshop 2023

In the summer of 2023 our workshop focused on Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ and Parry’s ‘I was glad.’ The workshop raised funds for the Rowcroft Hospice, in memory of Mark Saxelby who was a driving force behind our choir.

Choral Workshop 2024 – Supporting the RNLI Bicentenary

Our 2024 workshop included the well known and not so well know choruses from Handel’s Messiah. We donated the proceeds from the workshop to our chosen charity was the RNLI to support them in their bicentennial year.
